Steven Poulathas, co-managing shareholder, has been named one of NJBiz's 2025 Leaders in Law.
This program honors legal professionals – lawyers and general counsels – whose dedication to their occupation and to their communities is outstanding. Following an open nomination period, the 60 honorees were chosen by a panel of independent judges with experience in the justice system.

Steve Poulathas serves as Flaster Greenberg's Co-Managing Shareholder. He is immediate-past chair of the firm's Business & Corporate Department, and serves on the firm's Board of Directors. His clients benefit from a holistic practice that combines his expertise in tax, business transactions, succession planning, trust and estate, and wealth preservation. Most of his clients are family-owned and closely held business of various sizes, who see him as general counsel serving as trusted advisor that becomes an integral part of their business and private wealth strategies for success.
Steve is also frequent speaker or publisher of articles on contemporary tax planning topics. His expertise builds upon his experience working at the IRS Office of Chief Counsel while in law school.
An avid member of NovaNation, he remains an active alumnus of Villanova University where he was Valedictorian of his graduating class.
He and his wife lovingly raise their two teenage boys, who fills up their time with school, sport, extracurricular and charitable activities.
