A Proposed New Approach To How Philadelphia Taxes Real Estate

PDF

Please join us on Thursday, October 29th for a Flaster Greenberg Real Estate breakfast program where our guest speakers—Paul Levy and Jerry Sweeney—will provide an overview of their proposed tax reform plan for the City of Philadelphia that would increase real estate taxes on commercial buildings to pay for wage and business tax cuts that would make Philadelphia a more attractive business location. This plan has achieved a wide range of support, including from both the business community and labor, but still has major legal and political challenges ahead before it can be adopted.
