Where is my container? A New Era in Detention and Demurrage

ABOUT THE PRESENTATION

Regardless of where a company is in the supply chain, there is a need to implement SOPs that comply with the new time-sensitive regulatory framework as soon as possible. This panel will discuss the new detention and demurrage billing procedures and requirements issued by the FMC; Dispute requirements for shippers/importers/carriers; Billing changes in light of the Incentive Principle; The new time restrictions preventing detention and demurrage invoices long after charges were incurred.
