Representation of a joint venture client consisting of a local development company, a New York-based brokerage and development company and a Pennsylvania-based development company in the redevelopment of a 33-acre site in Annapolis, Maryland, consisting of a vacant 400,000 square-foot shopping center. The property was redeveloped into a 1.5 million square-foot multi-use (retail, apartment, office and hotel) facility. The legal services included complicated areas of financing, including $27 million in structured equity from a major national financial institution, senior debt acquisition financing and construction financing.
