Adam E. Gersh, a shareholder in the Labor and Employment Practice Group at Flaster Greenberg PC, has been selected by Tri-State Human Resource Management Association (HRMA) to co-present a seminar on the New Jersey Security and Financial Empowerment Act (“SAFE Act”). This program will help employers  learn how to comply with this new law and will educate employers about the type of decision making that will be critical in the implementation of the SAFE Act.

Gersh’s segment of the presentation will cover the history of the SAFE Act, including: which employers are covered by the SAFE Act; which employees may be eligible for SAFE Act protections; what obligations the SAFE Act imposes on employers; winning strategies for ensuring compliance with SAFE Act requirements; and using the SAFE Act to reinforce your organization’s commitment to its employee safety.

He focuses his practice on the representation of businesses in employment and complex business disputes in the federal and state courts of New Jersey and Pennsylvania and before federal and state administrative agencies.
