FG's Marcy Hart & Karen Roberts to Participate in PAP's 2014 Annual Education Conference

Marcy N. Hart, real estate attorney at Flaster Greenberg PC, and Karen L. Roberts, human resources director at Flaster Greenberg PC, will participate as speakers at The Philadelphia Association of Paralegals' (PAP) 2014 Annual Education Conference. Held on September 12th in Philadelphia, the event will take on the "The Ethical Paralegal" theme to help paralegals strive to achieve a high level of competence through education, training and work experience. 

Marcy Hart will speak on "Real Estate – Recent Amendments to Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code." She will discuss the fundamentals of acquiring security interests, including how to attach, perfect and gain priority in the collateral of choice. 

Karen Roberts will join the panel entitled "Professional Development – Paralegal Survival Guide," which will cover quick tips to avoid being laid off and how to make yourself more valuable. Attendees will leave with new ideas for managing billable hours or workflow, along with how to juggle e-mail and social media.

The seminar will be held on Friday, September 12th at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute in Philadelphia, PA from 8:00 a.m. – 4:45 p.m. Both presentations will take place from 3:30 – 4:45 p.m. and have been approved for 1.25 NFPA and Keystone Alliance CLE credits.
