On Thursday, February 12th, Flaster Greenberg PC will host and sponsor the Independent Business Alliance’s (IBA)  “Legally Speaking: A Legal Education Series for IBA Members” as part of their  2015 commitment as Corporate Sponsor of IBA. The seminar, entitled “Real Estate Interests for the LGBT Community: Securing and Adapting Your Real Estate Structure in PA, NJ and Elsewhere,” will take place at Flaster Greenberg’s center city office, located at 4 Penn Center, 1600 JFK Blvd, 2nd Floor, from 8:00 - 10:00 a.m.

This seminar is the next installment in a continuing series produced by Flaster Greenberg for members of the IBA.  This seminar will explore the different approaches that now legally-married same-sex couples can take when applying for a mortgage or establishing ownership of a home, and whether it may make sense to revisit a strategy implemented before a state recognized same-sex marriages. The speakers will also explain the types of legal documents that will protect you if disputes over property ownership or other legal issues arise. Additionally, they will address unique real estate concerns that could potentially affect LGBT business owners and their partners.

Speakers:
Kevin M. Greenberg , Esq., Shareholder, Flaster Greenberg PC
Ashley E. Prime , Esq., Associate, Flaster Greenberg PC

Program Schedule:
