Welcomes new shareholder Harry J. Giacometti, Esq.

Noted bankruptcy attorney Harry J. Giacometti has joined Flaster Greenberg PC as a shareholder in the Bankruptcy, Financial Restructuring and Risk Management Department and in the Litigation Department. He will divide his time between the firm’s Philadelphia and Cherry Hill, New Jersey offices.

Mr. Giacometti focuses his practice on bankruptcy, debtor and creditors’ rights and commercial law and litigation. He is a seasoned attorney who has more than twenty years of experience in the legal services industry, including as a trial attorney with the Tax Division of the United States Department of Justice. After serving in the DOJ, he entered private practice at Duane Morris, and later co-founded Smith Giacometti, a boutique business law firm, in 1997.

A prolific writer on topics related to reorganization and commercial finance, Mr. Giacometti has been a contributing author to Pennsylvania Foreclosures and Repossessions, and has written various sections of Developments in Reorganization and Commercial Finance Law, an annual publication. He also lectures on subjects relating to commercial transactions, bankruptcy law and commercial litigation.
