Marcy N. Hart, a prominent real estate attorney with a growing national practice, joins Flaster Greenberg PC as Shareholder effective April 7, 2014.
"We are delighted to have Marcy join our firm,” said Peter R. Spirgel, Managing Shareholder at Flaster Greenberg. “Her in-depth knowledge and experience in the real estate industry, coupled with her quality of clients, compliment the extensive real estate, commercial and corporate legal services that we, as a firm, deliver to our clients.”
Hart, who will work in the firm’s Philadelphia office, was most recently a partner in the Real Estate Department at Askot Weiner & Cohen LLP. She has a broad based and versatile practice focused on real estate transactional matters, representing local and national developers and investors in the acquisition, development, financing, repositioning and disposition of every class of real estate including office, warehouse, apartment, hotel, retail, and residential.
"We are thrilled that Marcy has decided to join our Real Estate Practice in Philadelphia," said Robert S. Davis, Chair of the firm's PA Real Estate Practice. "She is a highly skilled and sought after attorney with a great reputation in the Philadelphia real estate community. Her clients include some of the largest developers in the City. She is a big part of our plans for growth in Philadelphia."
“I am extremely excited to be joining Flaster Greenberg,” said Hart. “Their overall firm culture and established client base really compliment my practice. I am really looking forward to helping them grow their real estate practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey."
Admitted to practice law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, Hart is a graduate of Villanova University School of Law and received her B.A. from Wellesley College.
Over the last year, Flaster Greenberg has added three shareholders, a New York office location and was selected by The National Law Journal as one of the top 20 law firms named to its ‘2013 Midsize Hot List.’ With the recent addition of Hart, the firm continues to grow and attract lateral hires from local law firms, including the AMLaw100. This week, Flaster Greenberg also announced the arrival of Sandra J. Lex, Intellectual Property attorney, and Christin E. Deacon, Bankruptcy attorney, to the firm.
