Flaster Greenberg's Robert Washburn to be Honored by the New Jersey Builders Association

Robert M. Washburn, Professor of Law at Rutgers-Camden School of Law, and Of Counsel with Flaster Greenberg PC, will be honored by the New Jersey Builders Association (NJBA) with its 2011 Silver Handshake Award.  The award will be presented at the NJBA’s Industry Awards Luncheon on April 7, 2011, during the Atlantic Builders Convention in Atlantic City, when the NJBA will recognize members for their efforts and achievements on behalf of the building industry in New Jersey. The Silver Handshake Award is presented to the individual who has been inducted into the Associate Hall of Fame at least 15 years ago, and who has remained active in the association while continuing to serve the industry.

A longtime member of the NJBA, Mr. Washburn has been frequently honored by that organization: He was inducted into the Associate Hall of Fame in 1987, and also received the Builders League of South Jersey’s Joseph S. Van Osten Lifetime Achievement Award.  In announcing the award recipients, the NJBA cited Mr. Washburn for his many accomplishments in service to the industry, including as a member of the NJBA Legislative Affairs Committee for over 30 years.

Mr. Washburn is a Professor of Law at Rutgers School of Law-Camden and Of Counsel to Flaster Greenberg. His practice includes general real estate and development matters including utility law, land use, real estate contracts and financing, homeowners association and condominium law, environmental law, land use litigation, legislation and ordinance drafting and review and appearances before municipal bodies and administrative agencies.
