Flaster Greenberg Bankruptcy Attorneys to Participate in the 18th Annual Business Lawyers’ Institute

Harry J. Giacometti and Steven D. Usdin, shareholders in the Bankruptcy, Financial Restructuring and Risk Management Department at Flaster Greenberg PC, have been tapped by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute to participate as a panelists at the 18th Annual Business Lawyers’ Institute.

The panel discussion, entitled “Counseling Distressed Businesses,” will discuss areas for both in house and outside counsel to help identify signs of a company’s decline and how to advise the client in getting its financial position in place. In addition, the panel will cover how to indicate early signs, present a program to the secured and unsecured creditors and what to anticipate the problem areas will be in the negotiation.

Giacometti focuses his practice on bankruptcy, debtor and creditors’ rights and commercial law and litigation. He is a seasoned attorney who has more than twenty years of experience in the legal services industry, including as a trial attorney with the Tax Division of the United States Department of Justice.

Usdin focuses his practice on commercial and personal bankruptcy, general corporate and transactional matters and commercial litigation. With more than 30 years experience in the legal services industry, he has appeared on behalf of debtors, creditors and equity security holders’ committees, and secured creditors in a variety of proceedings at the Trial and Appellate levels in State and Federal Courts.
