Kizner to Participate in the New Jersey State Bar Association Mid-Year Conference

Mitchell Kizner, shareholder in the Environmental Law Department at Flaster Greenberg PC, has been tapped by the New Jersey State Bar Association to participate as a moderator and panelist at its upcoming mid-year meeting, which will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada October 10-14, 2012.

The panel discussion, entitled “Recent Developments in the New Jersey Spill Compensation and Control Act,” will review the Act, various cases decided in the past two years concerning efforts to establish liability for environmental releases under the Act and issues concerning Natural Resource Damages. Attorneys David A. Brooks of Gibbons P.C., and Marc D. Policastro of Giordano Halleran & Ciesla, P.C., will also serve as panelists.

A member of Flaster Greenberg's Environmental Law Department, its Alternative and Renewable Energy Industry Group and General Counsel to the firm, Kizner focuses his practice on environmental and insurance litigation. He represents clients in environmental, insurance and other commercial matters as part of his active litigation and commercial law practice. Most recently, he became Chair of the New Jersey State Bar Association, Environmental Law Section, for the 2012-2013 term.

The conference will take place October 10-14, 2012 at the Encore at Wynn Las Vegas in Las Vegas, Nevada.
