Homans, head of the Labor and Employment Practice Group at Flaster Greenberg PC in Philadelphia, and Virginia Hardwick, founding partner of Hardwick Benfer, LLC in Doylestown, presented as panelists on whistle-blowing laws at the American Bar Association’s 9th Annual Labor and Employment Law Conference held in Philadelphia on November 9. Their session, "Performing Issue Spotting and Client Intake in Whistleblower Cases," covered federal and state whistleblower laws that protect employees, and highlighted steps that employers can take to avoid and limit such claims.
