The law is expected to provide paid sick time off to 1.2 million New Jerseyans and will require employers to rewrite their current sick leave policies.. "It means rewriting their policies and figuring out how they are going to adjust," said Adam Gersh, an employment lawyer with Flaster Greenberg in Cherry Hill. "That can be uncomfortable for employers."
