Adam Gersh was quoted in the Asbury Park Press on July 31, 2018 regarding the new New Jersey paid sick leave law that will go into effect on October 29, 2018. The law is expected to provide paid sick time off to 1.2 million New Jerseyans and will require employers to rewrite their current sick leave policies.. The article highlights how it works, who’s eligible, what’s covered and how it will affect many industries, including the service industry.

"It means rewriting their policies and figuring out how they are going to adjust," said Adam Gersh, an employment lawyer with Flaster Greenberg in Cherry Hill. "That can be uncomfortable for employers."
