Flaster Greenberg PC shareholder Tami Bogutz Steinberg was recently elected Vice Chairwoman of the Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey (CCSNJ), Membership Division. In this role, she will work with the Chamber staff to identify prospective members who can benefit from the organization’s Program of Work. She will serve as Vice Chairwoman for the 2017 – 2018 term.
Steinberg is a seasoned corporate attorney who represents principally entrepreneurs and closely held businesses, assisting companies across a wide range of industries, and with multiple diverse legal issues. Her practice emphasizes mergers and acquisitions, financings, joint ventures, partnership and shareholder transactions, dispute resolutions, corporate governance and contracting, and private placements. She frequently functions as outside general counsel and provides legal advice, assistance and oversight regarding matters that include corporate, tax, labor, intellectual property, real estate and litigation. Steinberg also possesses considerable experience in the area of business breakups. She represents both minority and majority shareholders/partners and other disenfranchised parties and she counsels business owners in how to protect themselves in the event of a future business dispute. She regularly assists litigators in settling shareholder and partner disputes that are in active litigation or in which litigation is threatened. Steinberg also represents operators and developers of gaming facilities.
