Flaster Greenberg is proud to support the Transportation Lawyers Association (TLA) 56th Transportation Law Institute in Salt Lake City, UT. Shareholder Chris Merrick, a national leader in the area of commercial transportation law, represented the firm at this annual conference which covered topics such as the National Labor Relations Act’s application to all transportation companies, negotiating and drafting international transportation agreements, non-economic damages in personal injury cases, factoring in the transportation industry, fraud in the supply chain and the impact on brokers, and an ethics panel addressing substance abuse and related ethical obligations.
The TLA is an independent bar association, comprised of in-house, government, and private practice attorneys. Its members assist providers and commercial users of domestic and international logistics and transportation services, in all modes.
