Mariel Giletto, Business and Corporate Law Shareholder & DEI Committee Chair, will be recognized as a 2024 Outstanding Woman of the Year in the category of Business Leadership by the Burlington County Women’s Advisory Council and Burlington County Commissioners Felicia Hopson & Allison Eckel.

The Burlington County Outstanding Women of the Year Awards will recognize ten outstanding Burlington County Women for their leadership, achievements, and service to the community during an awards reception in September at Riverton Country Club.

For more than two decades the Burlington County Commissioners and Burlington County Women’s Advisory Council have honored county women for their contributions to elevating women and improving local communities.

With more than 15 years of experience, Giletto has represented and advised South Jersey companies, including many local family-owned businesses, through all aspects of the business life cycle. She has an innate understanding of the day-to-day realities and pressures her business clients face stems from her upbringing in a multi-generational family of entrepreneurs. As a result, she understands that the success of an organization depends on its ability to plan for the future. She combines this life experience with her legal skillset to creatively construct practical solutions to complex legal challenges tailored to suit the client’s goals. She offers insights into transactions, develops effective approaches to negotiations, formulates the most productive strategies and uses all resources at her disposal to protect and defend the interests of her clients.

Along with her work as a business attorney, she is Chair of Flaster Greenberg's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, serves on the Board of Directors of the Burlington County Regional Chamber of Commerce, and is Chair of the Rancocas Woods Business Association where she has played a major role in revitalizing the Rancocas Woods shopping district.
