A member of Flaster Greenberg's Cannabis Law group was interviewed by radio station NJ 101.5 FM earlier this month in response to a recent legal alert that shareholder Alma Saravia wrote regarding Governor’s Phil Murphy’s bold new direction for regulating medical marijuana in New Jersey.

The state is making an effort to encourage the medical community to embrace medical marijuana as a tool in their practice by introducing a bill loosening requirements for physicians to become part of the program, adding additional ailments to the eliminating the current list of approved medical conditions and allowing physicians to prescribe medical marijuana to any patient whose diagnosis warrants the prescription, allow patients to visit any dispensary they choose, and more. Many hope that these new changes will pave the way towards legalization, and top lawmakers predict that marijuana legalization will be the next big issue they tackle.

This interview with NJ 101.5 FM aired on the station on July 9th. Click here to read the article.
