Flaster Greenberg Welcomes Litigation Shareholder Meghan K. Finnerty

Meghan K. Finnerty has joined Flaster Greenberg as a shareholder in its Litigation and Insurance Counseling and Recovery Departments.

Finnerty will primarily focus her diverse commercial litigation practice on assisting corporate and nonprofit policyholders as they navigate disputes with their insurance companies. She will be headquartered in the firm’s West Conshohocken, PA, office.

“We are thrilled that Meghan has joined our firm as a shareholder and member of our Litigation and Insurance Counseling and Recovery Departments,” remarked Lee Epstein, chair of Flaster Greenberg’s Insurance Counseling and Recovery Department. “Her vast experience deepens our bench of top-notch insurance recovery attorneys.”

Prior to joining Flaster Greenberg, she spent more than ten years at Offit Kurman in Philadelphia, PA.

Finnerty regularly advises construction, manufacturing, restaurant industry, and auto industry clients on risk and insurance issues for each phase of the life cycle of the business. She has also recently litigated or advised policyholders in the context of the duty to defend, faulty workmanship, and other “occurrence” issues, asbestos and other exclusions, property and business interruption coverage, D&O, E&O, EPLI, equipment breakdown coverage, coverage for opioid litigation, coverage under subcontractor policies and bad faith claims.

Finnerty received her J.D. from Southern Methodist University – Dedman School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies from the University of Notre Dame.
