| Press Release

Flaster Greenberg Shareholder Meghan Moore was named to Florida Trend's 2024 Notable Women in Law List, published in the magazine's December 2024 issue.

Moore, an Insurance Counseling & Recovery attorney, focuses on helping companies secure insurance coverage for defense and protection when facing high stakes litigation. She also assists them in recovering property and business interruption benefits when they suffer losses from natural disasters. Moore's practice includes representing policyholders in disputes under commercial general liability, property, fidelity, directors and officers, errors and omissions, and many other types of insurance policies.

Jordan LaVine, co-managing shareholder, said, "Meghan encompasses all the qualities that make a great leader. First, she is an active member of Flaster Greenberg’s Board of Directors. Quite unusually, our firm’s shareholder body elected Meghan to the firm’s Board of Directors within months of her arriving at the firm, which I view as a testament to the shareholders in our firm being able to identify almost immediately Meghan’s qualities as leader."

Along with being a member of the Board of Directors, Moore is also a member of the firm’s Women’s Initiative, Women’s Advisory Group, and Marketing Reserve Fund Committee. Moore also serves as a committed mentor to associates in our Insurance Department.

In her legal practice, Meghan leads the firm’s Florida Insurance Counseling & Recovery Group and has recovered more than $125 million on behalf of corporate and individual policyholders since joining the firm in 2020. With Meghan’s leadership and legal acumen, the firm’s Florida practice has grown into a successful and respected practice that handles high stakes matters on behalf of real estate developers, general contractors, bridge builders, and financial services companies.
