Madeline Caprioli Hamilton is a commercial litigator with 30 years of experience serving as a trusted advisor and litigation counsel for clients throughout the United States. With extensive experience in a wide variety of commercial cases, a significant part of her practice is devoted to complex insurance coverage matters. Madeline has represented large insurance companies in the past and, more recently, represents commercial policyholders in the investigation, analysis, and litigation of complex, high-exposure first-party and third-party insurance coverage matters in numerous state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration, appraisal, and mediation.
Madeline’s legal experience also includes handling cases that involve insurance bad faith/extra-contractual liability, business interruption losses, arson and fraud claims, all aspects of CGL coverage, mortgage and bank fraud, Legionella claims, multi-school district water and mold claims, catastrophic collapses, employment liability, management liability, art theft, and construction defects. Madeline has also represented clients for business and partnership dissolutions/divorces, contract disputes, and construction matters. In addition to her extensive litigation and trial experience, Madeline also serves as appellate counsel before the Pennsylvania appellate courts and the Third Circuit.
Before joining the firm, Madeline was a Partner at one of Philadelphia’s largest litigation and trial firms.
