Flaster Greenberg Shareholders Marty Judge, John Koch, and Jennifer Johnson are scheduled to present at the annual Atlantic Builders Convention, hosted by the New Jersey Builders Association, on March 28-30 at the Harrah’s Waterfront Conference Center in Atlantic City, NJ. This convention is the largest industry tradeshow in the Northeast and draws thousands of participants from the region, including residential and commercial builders, developers, remodelers, subcontractors, manufacturers, suppliers, and consulting professionals.

Environmental Law Shareholder Marty Judge focuses all facets of environmental litigation, in addition to environmental compliance and counseling work. Judge has widespread experience in environmental matters concerning CERCLA (Superfund), RCRA and New Jersey Spill Act actions; Natural Resource Damage (NRD) claims; ISRA applicability and compliance matters; underground storage tank issues; and indemnity and contribution actions among jointly responsible parties. His experience also includes water discharge and water allocation/resource law, brownfields and redevelopment, the environmental permitting components of land use, waste-water planning and federal/state wetlands jurisdiction matters, solid waste permitting and compliance, air pollution permitting and compliance, pesticide compliance and enforcement, administrative agency litigation and appellate jurisprudence, environmental insurance coverage claims and toxic tort litigation (including class action defense).

Insurance Counseling and Recovery Shareholder John Koch helps business clients recover from their insurance companies or other responsible parties when facing a loss or potential liability. His clients come to him for cost-effective, objective-driven representation. He does not represent insurance companies.

Whether by litigating a case through trial and appeal, using alternative dispute resolution (ADR), or out-of-court negotiations, John has recovered substantial sums for clients under both liability insurance policies and property insurance policies. His clients hail from many industries, such as HVAC and other manufacturing, global food and beverage, big box retail and shopping centers, property management, communications and entertainment, publishing, financial services, and others.

Real Estate and Land Use Shareholder Jennifer Johnson focuses on all aspects of commercial and residential real estate transactions and development including acquisition, land use approvals, leasing and financing of a wide variety of retail, office, industrial and residential projects throughout New Jersey. She handles all types of land use approvals and regularly appears before planning and zoning boards all over New Jersey. She also represents individuals in residential real estate matters.
